General Questions
-
MSP Unlimited provides managed IT, cybersecurity, Microsoft 365, backup, business continuity, and technical support services for small and midsize businesses.
We proactively manage supported technology environments while helping clients protect their users, devices, email, identities, applications, and business data.
-
A managed service provider, or MSP, assumes ongoing responsibility for defined areas of an organization’s technology environment.
Instead of contacting different vendors whenever something breaks, clients receive coordinated monitoring, maintenance, security, support, and technology guidance through a recurring service agreement.
-
We primarily serve small and midsize businesses that need dependable technology and cybersecurity capabilities without building a large internal IT department.
Service recommendations are based on each organization’s number of users, locations, applications, infrastructure, regulatory considerations, and risk profile.
-
Yes. MSP Unlimited provides both remote and onsite services.
Many issues can be diagnosed and resolved remotely, which helps reduce delays. Onsite support is available when physical access, installation, troubleshooting, or hands-on assistance is necessary. Availability and any associated charges are defined in the applicable service agreement.
-
Yes. We can operate as a fully outsourced IT provider or supplement an existing IT team.
Co-managed arrangements can provide additional monitoring, cybersecurity, backup, project assistance, escalation support, or specialized Microsoft 365 expertise.
Frequently Asked Questions
Service Packages
-
MSP Unlimited offers three service levels:
Essential provides foundational managed IT, Microsoft 365 Business Premium, support, email protection, device management, backup, and cybersecurity.
Advanced adds Microsoft 365 Business Premium with Copilot, enhanced security, additional data protection, and stronger management capabilities.
Complete provides our highest level of IT management, advanced cybersecurity, identity protection, 24/7 managed threat detection, advanced endpoint management, and business continuity.
Final inclusions are documented in each client’s proposal and service agreement.
-
The right package depends on your organization’s operational needs, cybersecurity risks, recovery requirements, compliance considerations, and desired support level.
We begin with a discovery process to understand your environment and recommend the appropriate service level. Additional services may be proposed when your requirements extend beyond the standard package.
-
Certain services and add-ons can be adjusted to accommodate servers, multiple locations, specialized applications, backup capacity, compliance requirements, or other business needs.
However, core security requirements may be mandatory because removing critical controls could create unacceptable risk for both the client and MSP Unlimited.
Frequently Asked Questions
Microsoft 365 and Copilot
-
Essential includes Microsoft 365 Business Premium without the premium Microsoft 365 Copilot license.
Advanced and Complete include Microsoft 365 Business Premium with Copilot, subject to the final proposal, user eligibility, Microsoft licensing terms, and service agreement.
-
Microsoft 365 Business Premium combines business productivity applications with cloud services and security capabilities. It can include Microsoft Office applications, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, identity protection, device management, and endpoint security.
MSP Unlimited helps configure, secure, administer, and support these capabilities within the scope of the selected package.
-
Microsoft 365 Copilot provides AI-assisted capabilities within supported Microsoft 365 applications. It can help users draft content, summarize information, analyze data, prepare presentations, organize work, and interact with authorized organizational information.
Copilot only accesses information the licensed user is permitted to access. Because existing access permissions affect what Copilot can retrieve, MSP Unlimited may recommend a security, permissions, and data-readiness review before deployment.
-
Advanced and Complete can include Copilot onboarding and adoption assistance as defined in the applicable service package.
Additional training, workflow development, agent creation, and departmental adoption programs may be offered as separate professional services.

24/7/365 SOC Center Monitoring
-
No provider or product can guarantee that a cybersecurity incident will never occur.
Our objective is to reduce risk through layered safeguards, improve threat visibility, respond to detected activity, protect critical data, and help the business recover when an incident occurs.
-
Security awareness training teaches employees how to recognize and respond to phishing, social engineering, suspicious links, malicious attachments, credential theft, and other common threats.
Depending on the package, training may include simulated phishing campaigns, employee education, risk reporting, and follow-up training.
-
All packages includes 24/7 managed threat detection through the applicable managed security platform.
Twenty-four-hour security monitoring does not necessarily mean the general help desk operates 24 hours a day. Help desk hours, after-hours procedures, response targets, and emergency support conditions are defined separately in the service agreement.
Frequently Asked Questions
Backup and Recovery
-
Yes, In our Advanced and Complete Packages. Microsoft 365 backup may protect supported Exchange Online, OneDrive, SharePoint, and Teams information, depending on the selected service and licensing.
Specific workloads, retention periods, recovery capabilities, and exclusions are documented in the proposal and service agreement.
-
Yes, our Managed workstation backup is available to protect approved files and folders on supported computers with our Advanced or Complete packages.
Workstation backup is separate from complete device management and may not protect every application, configuration, or locally stored data set unless specifically included.
-
Yes. MSP Unlimited offers server and large-data-set protection using managed business-continuity and disaster-recovery solutions.
Depending on the organization’s requirements, this can include a local backup appliance, offsite replication, image-based backup, recovery testing, and emergency restoration services.

Recovery time depends on the affected system, amount of data, backup method, internet connectivity, hardware availability, incident conditions, and selected service level.
Where required, recovery-time and recovery-point objectives should be established during solution design and documented in the applicable agreement.
Frequently Asked Questions
Support and Onboarding
-
Supported users receive instructions for submitting requests through approved support channels. These may include a service portal, email, telephone, or an installed support application.
The specific channels, operating hours, escalation procedures, and response targets are provided during onboarding.
-
Yes. User onboarding and offboarding can include account creation or removal, license assignment, access changes, device preparation, security-policy application, and coordination with designated client contacts.
Timely notification from the client is essential, particularly when an employee’s access must be removed.
-
The timeline depends on the number of users, devices, locations, applications, existing vendors, documentation quality, and condition of the current environment.
After discovery, MSP Unlimited provides an onboarding plan covering information gathering, tool deployment, security configuration, documentation, remediation, and transition into ongoing support.
-
Existing equipment is evaluated during discovery and onboarding.
Devices must meet reasonable requirements for operating-system support, performance, security, warranty status, and compatibility. Unsupported or high-risk equipment may require replacement or remediation before it can be covered under a managed-service agreement.
-
The process begins with an initial consultation and discovery assessment. We review your users, devices, Microsoft 365 environment, cybersecurity controls, backup requirements, support needs, and business objectives.
MSP Unlimited then recommends an appropriate package and provides a proposal defining services, responsibilities, pricing, and onboarding requirements.
